About West Bengal Duare Ration Scheme
“Duaare Ration” is a new scheme by the West Bengal government to deliver subsidized food grains to the doorsteps of the residents of West Bengal. On 16 November 2021, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced to start the “Duare Ration Scheme” for the benefit of the General Poor people of West Bengal. Through which the state government of West Bengal pledges to deliver rations to the doorsteps of all the people of the state. All the people of West Bengal, especially the backward classes, who used to go far and wide to collect rations, will benefit greatly from this program.

The program will be rolled out across West Bengal by early 2022 and will benefit more than 9 crore people in West Bengal.

Through this program, the West Bengal State Government will provide door rations to every part of every district in West Bengal for which the beneficiaries have to collect their rations by providing their biometrics so that the corrupt ration system will end forever and also all poor families who used to go far and wide to fetch rations on foot will be released from this trouble
The Public Ration Distributor(Ration Dealer) Has The Responsibility For This Work To Be Done Successfully, The government will provide financial assistance of Rs one lakh each to about 21,000 ration dealers for purchasing vehicles to deliver rations to the people in this manner
