Uttarakhand State Government has launched many new schemes for the welfare of farmers. One of them is Deen Dayal Sahakrita Kisan Kalyan Yojana through which the Uttarkhand Govt will provide low-rate interest loans of up to Rs 1 lakh to encourage farmers in their agriculture, By using this Loan Amount farmers of Uttarakhand will be able to grow more crops through improved mechanization system and Sophisticated agricultural strategy

Eligibility
- The Applicant Must Be A Permanent Resident Of The State Of Uttarakhand
- Only Farmers Can Apply For This Scheme
- The Government Will Not Provide Any Relief For The Production Of Perennial Food Crops And Afforestation Crops
- The Small And Marginal Farmers Of All Sections Are Eligible. The Benefits Of The Scheme Also Extends To Tenant Farmers, Lessee Or Collector Farmers
Benefits
In order to make farmers free of their loans and improve their farming, Uttarakhand Govt has Launched this scheme, Through this the Uttarakhand government will provide loans upto Rs 1 lakh at only two percent interest rate so that farmers will no longer have to borrow money From Mahajans at a higher interest rate for their farming
The farmers will be given three years by the government to repay the loan, after which the interest on the loan will continue at the compound interest rate.
