Eligibility Criteria
- The Applicant woman has to be a permanent resident of the state of Uttar Pradesh.
- If a widow already takes advantage of any pension scheme of the state government/Central Govt, she will not be eligible for this scheme.
- Applicant Widow must be between in 18 and 60 years of age.
- Widows of the state will not be able to avail the benefits of this scheme if they work in any government department.
- If the widow remarries, she will not get the benefit of this scheme
- The applicant widow should usually be a member of a financially weak family.

Uttar Pradesh Widow Pension will provide benefits to both rural and urban widows in the state
Through this Scheme, The state government of Uttar Pradesh will provide financial assistance of Rs 500 per month to each eligible widow
