There are still many boys and girls in our country who, despite being talented, are forced to drop out of the middle of their school due to the poor financial condition of his/her family. similarly, There are many such meritorious students in the state of Madhya Pradesh, who are not able to continue their studies as their families are very poor too as a result they started to leave out from their school in the middle. Therefore, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has planned a project called Mukhayamntri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana to encourage and take meritorious students forward to their education, So that all the poor meritorious students of the state can continue their higher education .

Eligibility criteria
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh
- The applicant’s family must have an income below 1.5 lakh Rupees per annum
- To Apply In this Scheme, Applicant Must have secured 80% marks In his/her CBSE Board Exam and For Icse Board Student He/She Should must attained 70% marks of His /Her Higher Secondary Board Exam
- If the Applicant is admitted in a Govt College of the state , at that Case Govt Of Madhya Pradesh will Waived The Full charges Of That College for that Student
- If the Applicant is Admitted in a Non-Govt College,at that Case Govt will Provide Highest 1.50 Lakh Rupees as a Cost of that College
benefits
- Through this project, meritorious students living in the state will be able to get admission in government and private colleges without any money.
- Rs 1.5 lakh course fee will be paid for admission in government or private engineering / medical / law courses.
Under the Chief Minister’s Meritorious Student Scheme, eligible students from Madhya Pradesh will also get cash prizes from the government for ranking in first, second, and third place in their higher secondary board examination.
The Prizes Distribution are as Following
- Rs 1,00,000 For 1st Rank Holder
- Rs 75000 For 2 Rank Holder
- Rs 50000 For 3rd Rank Holder
