About Jal Jeevan Hariyali
Jal Jeevan Hariyali is a very commendable initiative run by the Bihar government under the Rural Development, There is a special significance behind naming this project Jal Jeevan Haryali
JAL: Jal means Water, Here water is named for Addressing water-related problems and solving them(e.g. climate conservation, keeping water pollution-free, maintaining groundwater levels, ensuring groundwater availability, keeping groundwater pollution-free, preventing wastage of water, etc.)
JEEVAN: Solving various life-related problems (such as making the villagers aware, ways to survive various waterborne diseases, etc.) and
HARIYALI: Hariyali means bringing greenness to the state (maintaining oxygen supply levels by planting trees in the state, increasing the rate of wellness in the state from various diseases like corona, flu, etc.)
The project has been launched mainly on these three issues.
Such a project is very important for the skillful functioning of society and human awareness.
Currently, unemployed youth of the state can find their employment through this scheme
