About Jai Bangla Pension Schemes

The West Bengal government has launched many projects for the benefit of the common man, the Jai Bangla Pension Scheme is one of them. Under this scheme (except government salary), all residents above 60 years of age in the state will get a grant of Rs 1000. A few days ago, the Chief Minister launched the Jai Johar project for the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes above 60 years of age, But after the advent of the Jai Bangla project, this Jai Johar project was included in the Jai Bangla Scheme. The Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced that persons above 60 years of age, widows, and disabled persons will get a grant of Rs 1000 per month through this scheme. This scheme will greatly benefit the elderly and the underprivileged poor people of the state of West Bengal.

The scheme is funded jointly by the Central Government and the State Government to all the beneficiaries under this scheme

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal state
  • applicant must be old aged/widow/disabled
  • The person must has attained the age of 60 years as on 01.01.2020
  • If the person is a beneficiary Under any other Social security pension Scheme or a recipient of Government pension or Pension from any other organisations then he/she will not eligible for this scheme .

Benefits

Earlier, Under the Sub scheme, Taposili bondhu Jai Johar scheme only SC and ST people were given an incentive of Rs 600 per month but after the invent of Jai Bangla Prakalpa this incentive becomes Rs 1000 per month

The Joy Bangla project may include people of different castes besides Scheduled Castes above 60 years of age. A list of which is given below

  • Farmers Old age Pension

All These People will get a pension of Rs 1000 per month

Required Documents

Applicant Must have to provide a copy of all the mentioned documents while applying to this scheme

  • Passport size photograph
  • Copy of Caste Certificate(Copy of digital certificate from appropriate Authority)
  • Copy of Ration/Adhar/Voter card
  • Copy of Residential Certificate
  • Copy of Income Certificate
  • Copy of Bank Passbook first page

  2. Now Click the Download Option
  3. Download Jai Bangla Scheme Form
  4. After downloading go to Nearest E-service/ Tathyamitra kendra and printed this form
  5. After printed Fill Up the application form clearly with Block Letters
  6. Pin all Required Documents
  7. Check Once again
  8. Submit Your Form in BDO office or Sub-Divisional Office
