Himachal Pradesh Ayushman Bharat Scheme
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has done many welfares works for the benefit of the people of Himachal Pradesh state, Among, Himachal Pradesh Ayushman Bharat Yojana(Scheme) is one of them. This Himachal Pradesh Ayushman Bharat Scheme has been launched to ensure the health care of citizens of the state.

Through this project, the State Government of Himachal Pradesh has announced to provide Rs 5 lakh per annum for medical assistance to every poor and helpless family in the State of Himachal Pradesh.
This project has been launched in imitation of the Central Government’s “Ayushman Bharat” project

Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a resident of the state of Himachal Pradesh
The applicant will be able to apply only if he/she has a place in the following stage(As per official Records)
- Category I-BPL, Registered Street Vendor, MNREGA Staff (Job Card) (Minimum 50 days worked in a previous or current financial year)
- Category II – Single Female, Disabled> 40%, Senior Citizen Above 70, Anganwari Worker & Helper, Asha Worker, Lunch Worker, Outsourced Worker. Daily Wage Employees, Part-Time Employees, Contract Employees (Autonomous Bodies, Associations, Boards and Corporations, etc. under the control of the State Government)
- Category III- Beneficiaries do not fall under Category-1 and Category-2 or who are not included in the government. Servants/pensioners or their dependent family members.
Benefits
- Each beneficiary family under this scheme will be provided medical assistance of Rs 5 lakhs per annum and the beneficiaries will be given a “Golden Health Card” for the use of this money.
Under this project, 4.79 lakh people of the state have been provided benefits and with these golden cards people can get treatment for up to 900 disease
