About Arunachal Pradesh Entrepreneurship Challenge
Arunachal Pradesh Entrepreneurship Challenge Project has been launched in an initiative of The Department of Finance Investment Planning in the state of Arunachal Pradesh, to consolidate and strengthen the business ideas and knowledge of all unemployed youth and entrepreneurs in the state
If a person has any idea or knowledge about strengthening the state economy and creating new entrepreneurs, business ventures, etc., he can participate in this project and share all his knowledge with the country. IIM Kolkata has been put as a partner to cooperate in the project
Main Goal Of The Scheme
- One of the main objectives of the program is to motivate the youth of the state to become job providers instead of job seekers, who will create livelihood opportunities for thousands more people in the state in the process.
- Creating an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem spanning across Arunachal Pradesh that supports and nurtures entrepreneurship
Objectives Of The Scheme
- Promoting a spirit of entrepreneurship in Arunachal Pradesh,
- create a thriving and respectful environment for entrepreneurs through government recognition, easy support accessibility, and creation of numerous opportunities
- To Identify promising entrepreneurs from the state and support them to scale from the idea stage to successful business ventures
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant has to be a permanent resident of Arunachal Pradesh
- The applicant should be an unemployed youth or potential entrepreneur
- Applicants must have passed 18 years of age
- The plan/venture should not belong to the following industries: Alcohol, Tobacco, Gambling, Firearms & Explosives
Target Audiences/Applicants
- Existing entrepreneurs in your district
- MSME registered enterprises
- College graduates
- Self-employed people into innovative businesses
- Organized producer groups
Benefits
Top 50 entrepreneurs will be selected for the Incubation and Pre-Incubation programs facilitated by the IIM Calcutta Innovation Park. Out of these, the top 10 entrepreneurs will be awarded up to Rs 5 lakhs and the next 40 entrepreneurs will be awarded up to Rs 4 lakhs

- Eligibility to avail of various government Support Schemes, Grants, Soft Loans & Pilot Opportunities
- Training and focused mentorship through pre-incubation, incubation support, and funding programs conducted by IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCP)
